Three generations. One field. Seven awards.

We've been making chips in Pestova since the 50s. Here's how a family business became a brand the world recognizes.

Pestova — Nëse flitet për patate

Company History

The company initially operated as a family enterprise. From 1991 it operated as a registered business. Over the following decade, the company faced the consequences of war. Beginning in the year 2000, the business was rebuilt from scratch, with a clear vision for long-term development.

Strategic partnerships with companies and financial institutions have been a pillar of the company's growth. Collaboration with the Dutch producer Agrico for the supply of quality seeds, along with the shareholder partnership with the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, have strengthened the supply chain, cooperation with local farmers, and enabled the establishment of the first potato processing capacities in 2004. Today, Pestova operates with advanced technology for processing potatoes into chips, ensuring consistent quality, high efficiency, and full control of the production process.

Products are made under the VIPA brand and meet international food safety and quality standards. Beyond the domestic market, VIPA chips are exported to 26 countries across Europe and the Americas, positioning the company as a competitive producer in international markets.

What We Stand For

Partnership with the Farming Community

We partner with local farmers under long-term contracts, providing agricultural inputs and expert guidance on potato cultivation. We're not just a chips company. We're employers, neighbors, and proud members of Kosovo's story.

Full Transparency

Our company carries out its activity in the rural area of the Municipality of Vushtrri, a region with a long tradition of potato production. We are committed to protecting the environment — particularly agricultural land and the treatment of wastewater from the potato processing operation.

Uncompromising Quality

Our products are made in full compliance with international standards for potato production and food processing. We are committed to quality and safety.
